RK came out with a chain that was supposed to solve the problem with the
Hayabusa's penchant for totalling chains after 5,000 mi. GB 530 GXWI HD.
I put 1 of these on 11,000 mi. ago and it seems to be extremely supple with
no kinks at this point. At the same time I jumped to a 45 rear (from 43) and
kept the 18 (stock '99 ST) front. The acceleration is better in all aspects
and hasn't affected mileage more than 1 or 2 mpg when riding at 80 or 90 on
the freeway.
Incidentally, I only clean it with WD-40 every 800-1000 miles...
