[ST] Comfort

After a long stint on the ST (Blue Heaven if I was to give it a name) I get
sore at the inside tops of my thighs not bum sore as some others seem to
describe. Moving around does not ease it. I suspect it is more to do with
the pegs to seat relationship and the aging process than seat comfort. Or
perhaps a tenseness in the legs. I have never on any bike (not even the
Bandit) suffered from sore bum on day long runs. However I will ask has
anyone else suffered this same thigh complaint and if so does the gel seat
help? Does even just a gel pad help by raising one a little?

Thanks for all the excellent ride reports which remind me how life can be
good despite spending 75% of the waking parts away from home and at work.
First longish trip of the year soon heading from Aberdeen to Donington Park
for the Motogp with both my sons, one on a Daytona 600 and the other on the
family hand me down Hornet 600. If the weather is good we will take our time
through the Borders, Northumberland coastal route (Bamburgh etc) and East
Yorks (Whitby, Scarborough etc). Maybe worth a ride report!
TIA for any advice on the specific seat question.
David
