Just so that more people are aware, a Corbin seat will be much harder than
almost any stock seat. Corbin's theory (which seems to hold true) is that
the seat is sort of like a mattress - that is, a really soft mattress might
feel good when you first lie down, but after sleeping on it for a few hours,
it's bad for you and you ache. So goes their seats - they are harder but
more supportive in the long run.
Additionally, their seats are like saddles, in that they have to be broken
in. That takes a couple of thousand miles to do so (and may be a slight
reason to purchase one new instead of news, because if someone else's arse
broke it in, it may not be exactly right for your arse - but that's really a
minor point - again, think saddles if you are familiar).
I have a Corbin on my Speedmaster and love it, but again wasn't a fan of the
location of that darned location of the transition on the Sprint seat. Try
it out for yourselves and see what you think.

I saw this discussion and thought I would add my two cents. I have had a
corbin on my Sprint for about 6k now. I got a good deal off of ebay, but it
now appears corbins new price of $199 is a very good deal.
At first I found the corbin to be a little on the hard side. But is has
broken in to my ass rather nicely and is what I now consider to be one of
the best motorcycle seats I have owned. I like the fact that it is wide and
provides more support to my ass and legs than the stock seat. I also feel
it looks good on the bike.
I haven't yet done any really long trips with it. But have done a number of
200+ milers and I haven't been sore after I got off.
FWIW,
Tom
