RE: [ST] new member



Yeah - I rode the GoldWing 1800.  It handles very nicely - wouldn't know
that it weighed that much....except when switching back on leans, and the
most noticeable time is low speed stuff (turns in lots, turns just off a
stop sign, etc).  A very nice bike.  Well done for its weight, but I guess
there are some times where it's unable to hide its weight.

I wouldn't put it in the hands of a beginner, because when they make a
mistake, the weight will rear its ugly head.

Matt,

I wouldn't say muscling.  I rode one for almost 3 years and it handles like
a dream.  So well balanced you'd never know you were on over 800lbs.  Throw
on two people and some gear and it's over 1000lbs, but you still wouldn't
know it.  That is until it tips to the point of no return :(
