I remember you mentioning a this buzz when we rode St. Helens last year. I've not had that, but mine is an '01 model. I don't know that the engine characteristics would have changed that much.

Have you thought about a heavier bar-end weight?

I do get a buzz, but it is more typically right above 5000 rpm. Fortunately, my typical cruising speed in fifth keeps me just under 5000 rpm.
