I had actually put a deposit on the 2000 with low mileage before I found
my 2001 on cycletrader.  I backed out of the deal because of a fracture
found in the gas tank, not the fittings, the actual tank where it mounts
to the frame.  The dealer (who was very cool about me not taking the
bike) said he didn't want it on his lot anymore and would be calling the
owner to pick it up.  Since then I haven't seen it around, I live pretty
close and am on the lot most weekend's spending money in my mind.  They
have a new  thruxton I'm drooling over!
