[ST] Repair advice

Ed:
The body parts are easily repairable since they are
not cracked.
Paint can be matched by computer at any competent auto
paint shop. Yes, you can purchase "official" OEM paint.
You will find it costs about $60 a pint....not
expensive, plus the paint must be covered by urethane
clearcoat which is not cheap. Decals are a standard
Triumph part. They can be ordered at any Triumph
dealership just as any other part is ordered.
An idea of how much new body panels cost:
Belly pan $120, Centre fairing $420, Upper cockpit
fairing $350. Decal $30
I think you should get several estimates to have the
parts sanded, filled, resprayed and cleared and compare
them with replacement cost. Make sure you use paint
shops that will give you quality work. The quality of
work varies widely from shop to shop. To get OEM
quality requires a good amount of attention to detail.
