[ST] Schwarzwald part 3 - end (long)

Free advice.
#1: red roads are often yellow roads, yellow roads are sometimes white roads, white roads are often not open to the public or are meant for 4wd vehicles. Stick to the yellow roads and you will be very pleased.
#2: road conditions of red and yellow roads are good to very good, well maintained and often cleaned. But you have to be aware of rocks and other debris fallen from the mountains from time to time.
#3: You will find more motorcycles than cars in certain areas, which is a very good sign. But don?t compete with the locals. They know the roads very well (and I certainly don?t). I?ve seen guys and girls nearly touching the road with their elbows in blind curves at 70km/h where a sane person would travel 35 km/h maximum speed. Many signs along the roads will warn you for the hazards. They are put there after numerous accidents with motorcycles and a couple of roads are even closed during the weekends because of these accidents.

?Heisse Kurven und Giftige Strecken? freely translated as ?hot curves and vicious circuits?=> How does that sound in English?.
Tiengen ? Bonndorf
Sankt Blasien ? Albbruck
Albbruck ? via Göhrwihl ? via Herrischried ? via Todtmoos ? Todtnau
Wehr ? Todtmoos
Steinen ? Kandern ? Tegernau ? Wieslet
Kandern ? Marzell ? Badenweiler ? Wieden
Actually it doesn?t matter where you go. Either you follow a road trough a valley or you cross a mountain.

I did use the following maps:
ADAC Freizeitkarte 26 Schwarzwald scale 1:100.000 for regional planning.
Hallwag Germany scale 1:700.000.

Coming up next: Schotland
