Under close inspection I noticed that the solvent beed or glue beed 
that held the lens to the assembly was incomplete and thus allowing 
it to separate.

I guess I've never looked at the signals close or had a need to. But 
I'm curious if the lens is held in place with glue instead of screws, 
how are you able to replace the bulb if needed.

(I'm stuck at work, otherwise I'd go take a look)
