Hello brother and sister ST riders,

Although I'm not as prolific a poster as some on this list, l hope that =
somewhere along the line I at least contributed a little something to =
this digest. =20

My Red '02 ST was sold to new Triumph convert about 2 weeks ago (and =
he's been royally impressed with its prowess by the way, especially as =
his demo ride was on the Blue Ridge Parkway between Cherokee and =
Asheville, NC). =20

I've since taken delivery of an '05 Lucifer Orange Tiger. Believe me =
when I say that I felt I'd made a bad decision in selling the ST, as it =
was the finest riding bike I'd ever owned and served me well for nearly =
16,000 miles. However after riding my Tiger for over 500 miles this =
past weekend on some of the most challenging roads, both paved and =
unpaved, in eastern Tennessee, western North Carolina and north Georgia, =
I've found that all my fears have been put to rest. Granted the Tiger =
is no ST, but for my riding style it should serve me quite well. And =
besides it's especially fun for a 50 year old gray haired rider to =
embarass the sportbike squids on The Dragon while riding a big trailie.

So I'm saying so long, but not fairwell, for I've met many fine riders, =
made some good friends, gained lots of usefull knowledge and heard =
plenty of good natured bs by being a member of this list and while =
riding my ST.

See you somewhere down a twisty road....

Richard C.
