Let me add my two cents worth:
Even if the bike is off warranty, Triumph has been pretty good of taking
care of their customers in these situations.  Of course, it helps to have a
good relationship with your dealer (who should go to bat for you) and to
have had the recommended maintenance items performed in a timely manner.
