[ST] 'Newbie' Greetings

Hi gang

I've been offline for a while due to some major life
changes, but now I'm back and raring to go.

I still ride the 2000 Racing Yellow Sprint RS.

We now have 28,000 miles together since new and are
coming up to our 4th anniversary - and I still grin
every time I get on board. My previous longest-lasting
bike was a T3 Guzzi at just 3 years. Another lovely
bike.

I haven't done much to her - she still has ST bars
fitted but everything else is pretty much stock. Oh, I
suppose I do have the latest race tune, and an
18-tooth engine sprocket. I sold the Triumph CF can
some months ago in a moment of madness, but she now
wears a Remus Grand Prix CF can, and that looks great,
suits the tune well and is not TOO loud either, quite
deep and mellifluous.

I'm now living in a little seaside town called
Burnham, south of Bristol, in the SW of the UK. Folk
in the SW seem keener on British bikes generally and
Triumphs in particular than in the SE, so they're
everywhere. There are at least 2 other RSs just in my
little town (including a rare blue one), a Lucifer
Orange one parks next to mine at work in Bristol, and
I've seen umpteen other trumpets. It's heaven!

I miss my trusted SE dealer Carl Rosner though. And
the ease with which I could pop into Lilleys for bits.
If anyone else on the list lives local get in touch.
How are Fowlers (Bristol) for Triumph spares and
service? I had a good look at the amazing Rocket III
in their showroom this week. How are Taylors in
Taunton? Any others in range I should know about (for
good or bad)?

Barry
