Exactly my thoughts re: the IBA.  I thought the article was humerous and 
the rebuttal was out of line.  I don't care to be associated with the 
IBA after reading it, but still plan on trying a 1000 mile day yet.  
Just don't need the IBA to recognize it. 

If the LD riders are taking the superslabs and riding with the traffic, 
yeah - they're speeding, but so's everyone else.  I would much rather 
see a motorcyclist riding at 80-85 mph than the numerous 18 wheelers 
that do it.

Doug,  Keep up your good work.  I applaud you and your efforts --  just 
glad I don't have to follow you  --  my rear would not take it!!  Best
