I've never understood why someone would want to have an additional 
400-600 pounds of weight they need to brake for. Not to mention what 
they do to the handling. I too have seen some pretty scary scenes 
involving trailers behind motorcycles. Motorcycle touring to me isn't 
about taking everything including the kitchen sink. That's what RV's 
are for. Maybe you could rent a convertible, or trailer the ST?
