RE: [ST] Tire Pressure on a Worn Rear

Rick,

After my Daytona trek yesterday, I now have a total of 1500 miles on my
Pilot Roads. Like I said, other than the occasional HWY exit ramp, I really
don't have any twisties where I live. Nor do I have the time to ride to
where there are some.

I can say that the Pilot Road handle a steady 115 MPH of straight highway
riding with no problem. I've also been able to take a 20 MPH exit ramp at
60ish MPH with no problem either. So I haven't noticed any significant
difference between the 100X and the Roads yet.

As they get up there in life I'll comment on the front tyre cupping issue.
The stock Bridgestones sucked. The 100X's did much better but still cupped
slightly near the end of their life.

Rich

I'm of the same mind. The only time I run lower pressures is to bring
some heat into the tires during cold weather.

Richard, once you have some miles on them, I'd appreciate your
assessment of the Pilot Roads. I hear they're similar to the Avon
AV45/46's I'm running...
