Well what do you know.  Learn something new every day.  I didn't know so
assumed that meant the countershaft sprocket.
According to something an ME showed me, the efficiency is about 96% from
front sprocket to rear sprocket.  So if there are more internal losses, I
don't know what they are.

Let's ask the engine design engineer.

You can't get FACTORY crank HP to REAL world rear wheel HP with 
anything like 96% efficiency. Much closer to 85%.
Also remember the crank is not the countershaft sprocket.
