RE: [ST] shutting down the ST



I use the key. When I first got my bike I used the kill switch, a habit from
my Katana. It got progressively harder to start. It was never bad, just the
difference between firing right up a the first push of the button or
cranking for 3-5 seconds.

If one listens very closely, you can hear a soft "click" under the seat a
few seconds after turning off the key. Using the kill switch, I don't think
you'd hear that circuit close.
