Couple of things here, Georgie

First, IMHO, the M800 is TWICE the bike as the F650GS, assuming SWMBO is
riding on the street only. Lower seat height, more power and a COOL factor
that only a guy can appreciate :))) The M800 Dark is a bike that kids will
walk up to y'all and say "hey man, cool bike", the F650GS will be a bike old
men walk up to ya and say " hey man, I used to have a BMW but it was cooler
that that thing :))

Go for the Duck, and "if" she tires of it, you will still have a bike you
are not ashamed to ride to work.

DISCLAIMER: I have several friends who ride the F650GS and they are manly
men, and use them for mainly dual sport rides. I have even thought of
getting one myself, but am looking more to an older DR-350.
