I've had two sets of of AV45/46s on my RS.

Mileage-wise, the rears have gone 5300-5500 mi, the fronts 8400 and
still counting at 4000.  These are probably conservative wear-life
figures -- I like to put fresh rubber on before hitting the wear
bars.

Much preferable to the hard, cupping-prone BT-020s, and with better
grip than the BT-010s, I like the easy, predictable turn-in.  They
never turned greasy, but on the rain-slicked Cherohala I had a slight
uneasy feeling about their grip.

Has their been discussion of the Pirelli Diablo's performance, and
their free-front tire offer?
