1969 to 1972 gas (ethyl) was 34.9 CENTS a gallon.  My buddies and I would 
chip in a buck each and drag race all nite in his 455 JUDGE.  We mostly won. 
  In '72 I got my H1 (Mach III) and the Judge was history  :))
