RE: [ST] Gast tank



  The large hose is to drain the airbox should it become filled with
something - like oil. A crankcase full of oil + extreme lean angles +
high RPM puts this hose to good use. The plug is handy to keep the oil
dribbling out as opposed to all at once dumping a big puddle in front of
the rear wheel at speed. =:-o  
  Note to self: next track day, keep the oil level in the engine a
little towards the low side. This prevents having to grab a bunch of
guys during intermission to lean the bike over while siphoning oil out
of the bike. :-)
