[ST] Belly Pan temp?

Pardon my ignorance, but what does a belly pan have to
do with warm weather?

One other observation of the pre-production ST. There
is no belly pan  anymore. The fairing splits down the
middle, with a left and right side  that gets rid of
the belly pan. Not sure what that means for you warm 
weather folks.
