Thanks for the offer, Mike, we'll take you up on it.

Everyone should know that Triumph will only support RAT events. While
energetic volunteers of the RAT leader type are the one's we're looking
for, we are a British bike club and want to be as inclusive as possible.
Triumph is not sponsoring us in any way. Skyking products will be,
along with several others and as many dealers as we can muster.

So, feel free to ask help of vintage dealers and anybody with a good
attitude and the time/inclination to help out. The fact that we might
be able to get your smiling face on TV is a bonus.

We are getting lots of input on where to ride, how to get there and
possible dealers and sponsors. Keep it coming and I will collate
everything and get it disseminated before the first of the year. For a
teaser, we are now planning on starting in Windsor, NB and taking the
ferry to Portland. That will be Friday the 8th and Saturday the 9th
we'll make the 200 mile ride to Great Bay in NH. The ferry has gambling
for those so inclined, along with a buffet and (costs extra) cabins.

You all need to plan on making as much of this ride as you can. Tell
your friends, too.

Andy

Sorry to rain on the parade but Winchester Motorsports is not in
Roanoke it is a few miles north of Winchester in Clearbrook right off
of I 81. They do not have a RAT pack any more. Terry the leader
there got married and went back to school and the rest just fizzled.
I used to ride with them on occasion. There is a RAT pack in D.C.
area out off the Camp Springs, Md dealer, Clinton Cycles which is
active, very nice guys as well. There is a dealer in Lychburg, Va
which would be a nice location, great roads out that way Rt 29 is
very scenic and 55mph and very little traffic, also close to I 81
corridor. That dealer is Millerbuilt. I have ridden with the
mechanic Zeb, and a few other Tiger guys. D&D Cycles in Norfolk,
Hampton area has a active RAT pack but you would miss the mountains
and you are seeing enough nice beaches in Florida. There is another
dealer in Hopewell Va just north of Petersburg but no RAT pack and
also no mountains just interstate. I live in Spotsylvania, Va just
west of Fredericksburg and would like to either do the whole ride or
at least hook up for a few days. Let me know if I can help in any
way Andy. Mike P yellow tiger
