RE: [ST] To: ST@TriumphNet.com

Jack:

Your message was a large, extremely difficult to read and run together
mess. There was a good story in there, but it was too much trouble to
sift it out of the format.

Since I assumed you had at least an 8th grade education, I expected that
you knew what a paragraph was and simply needed to know that your post
was pretty much unreadable as received. Since I would like to be able
to read it more easily, I thought perhaps you might do something in
future to help.

The way I phrased my reply was another poor attempt on my part to be
humurous. One must be careful to avoid such attempts when dealing with
the humor-less. Or those out-of-sorts on a given day.

Unfortunately, I am incorrigible. I do have a delete key and can use
it. Reading your post would have been more fun.

Andy wrote: Jack, if you are going to send all these great messages, I
would recommend using a new invention called "paragraphs" They are used
to separate ideas and events within story lines. They are very helpful
in emails such as yours, because I'm going batshit trying to read the
f'ing things. Respectfully submitted, Your Obnt Srvnt,

Andy I don't know if you were in jest or not but it doesn't matter. What
I sent was from a program I use to keep and electronic diary for my
daughter's use later on. Every time I create a new paragraph it creates
a new day and date entry. I am aware of what a paragraph is. I could
have spent some time editing the message I guess but I didn't think it
would be so much F'ing trouble for anyone to skip over if they were not
happy.

You will see no farther post from me on the ST list.

The list has changed quite a bit since we were all on it at it's origin
in '99. The oil and tire threads may be old hash to some but I'd bet
most of the folks on the list now never went through these as they are
fairly new. All but about six of the original riders have moved on I
guess. But they get hit on for asking the most basic questions. We need
to get over it and either read them to gain new knowledge if possible,
scan past them, give them and answer, or just delete them. Instead we
take shots at them. Friendly and warm place to be?

In addition, I have posted ride reports from every ST Rallye we have
held each year and never had anyone complain until now.

I saw enough personal trashing before the election to do me for some
time.

I waited from seeing your post Saturday at home until this morning at
work to reply as I did not want to take shots or be angry when and if I
replied. I'm neither but I just don't need it.

So long from the Rude One.
