Tony,

I've been experimenting with the FI tune on my ST using the TuneEdit 
software.
It is possible to lean out the target AF ratio across the range and 
achieve above average MPG.
65MPG is feasible under certain conditions but performance is bland. A 
smaller, more economical, motor would be a much better bet.
