Talking of DIY, I changed the antifreeze on my RS this
weekend. And just in the nick of time too - we had our
first hard frost of the season last night.
Draining it was easy. Refilling less so - I kept
getting an airlock at the filler and it wouldn't take
any more, until I took off the left fairing and
realised there's a 10mm bolt right at the high point
of the system, there to let the air out! Then it
filled easily.
My next 'doh' moment was when I started the engine to
drive out bubbles etc. DON'T do that until you've put
that bolt back in! I had a beautiful 5' high blue
fountain for a few seconds there.....
