[ST] Heated grips (now Triumph)

Speaking of heated grips (thread hijack)...

Had the Triumph grips installed on the '03, but due to the newer design double
throttle cables up top, they can't bury the grip wire inside so it has a
support that makes it stick up and it has a bit of a loop to it so it can have
room when the throttle rotates?  

Ick!  What can be done about it?  

All thoughts and suggestions appreciated,
