IMNSO opinion, the only LED's worth sticking on the back of the bike are the
HyperLites. I used to have them on everything, and they are great attention
getters for the cager behind you.
I know they are not technically legal in several states (adding a blinking red
light to *anything* usually isn't!) but I can't say I've *ever* heard of
anyone being pulled over and cited for just the use of HyperLites.
When I traded the Trophy 3 on the ST, my HyperLites went with it but the ST
came with a "Back Off" modulator in the tail, seems to do the trick but I have
wondered at times if the person behind me thinks I'm rolling away when it lets
off and starts blinking again. Hmmmm.
