 Try talking to another cop about that particular light, they may be able to 
substantiate your issue with the light.  I've spoken to a couple of the 
officers in my town (look for them at Dunkin' Donuts) to let them know about 
lights I've had chronic delays at.  The cops usually know about the 
situation, and recognize that it's essentially a judgment call once you've 
sat through a cycle or two...next time look BOTH ways!
