AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yesterday I was showing my 01 ST to a friend who has no idea about =
motorcycles (hint!?). I was sitting in a parking lot just getting on the =
bike, retracting the side stand, showing where the gear lever and clutch =
is...leaning the bike to one side, expecting to stop leaning =
because...wait...it doesn't stop leaning...oh no...the side stand is =
still up. Unfortunately the weight was too much to hold...so I laid it =
DOWN. Fortunately it was a slow laydown, nothing broke, but I have now a =
nice gauge on the left fairing and a scraped black portion on the hard =
bags. The edge of the mirror is scraped and the gear shift lever is =
slightly bent, but was able to pull it back out. I'm just soooo bummed. =
What a freaking brain fade! Are there any touch up paint bottles out =
there? It's pretty minimal, it doesn't warrant a repaint. Anybody else =
with brain fade stories out there?
Zoltan
