[ST] Bike won't start

Folks,

I've had my '01 ST since new, and have never had a lick of problems, until
today.

When I fired the bike up today, it gave me problems (first time ever, with
no prior warnings); however, after repeated efforts, it fired up. I did
notice that for the first few tries, only the "low oil pressure warning
light gauge" came on, and not the "engine management malfunction indicator
light" and "low fuel level indiactor light". Once all three lights came on,
then the bike started.

However, once I got to my final destination (grocery store for the wife),
the bike was completely conked. Only the low oil pressure light comes on,
and not the other two, and the bike, while able to crank (not a battery
problem) will not start.

Any ideas?

Curt
