Ditto on that. I run D208's and get about 5,000 kms (~~ 3,300m) out of
a rear.
But, with work and the kids being what they are at the moment 5000kms
equates to quite some time on the calendar. I like the "I'm not going
to let
this bike fall over" feel the 208's give once they are warm
(particularly
when you ride as infrequently as I am at the moment). Very comforting.
Horses for courses etc, but I think the 208 is a great bit of rubber.
