Mark does you ST use much oil between 6K oil changes?
If I remember correctly I have about 500 miles to go before my next oil
change. So far I have added about 1.5 quarts of oil since the last oil
change. It concerns me that at 33K the bike is burning oil. I was riding
in Nova Scotia

last weekend and this is what he said

Forgot to tell you - the oil is being burned. Saw some coming out of 
the pipe when you'd let off and get back on. Also a bit at start up.

Those of you who have had oil consumption issues did you figure out the
cause? Is it rings or valve seals? 

Does anyone have experience with this bad breather valve and seal?
