Ok ok, we've digressed from the original intent of this thead by a long
shot.  I forget who made the original request but I've yet to see any good
info re: usage, amplification levels, etc. between the AudioBoss, StarCom1, or
new AutoComm systems that are now priced in the ball park.  

My biggest need is amplification, it's almost impossible to make out speech
over FRS/GMRS at freeway speeds.  Earplugs help of course but it needs more.

Thoughts?  Anyone?  Beuhler?
