Got a volt meter?  Hoping so, check the battery as it sits there and see what
the voltage is and note that.  Then put it on a charger such as a Battery
Tender overnight, remove the charger and check the voltage again.  Look
better?  If so hook battery back up and see if she'll fire.

If so, check your voltage again with the engine running.  Report findings so
the EE's on the list can help diagnose.  

Here's to hoping it's just a discharged battery, and yes your engine light
will come on in a drained battery situation.
