like I said .......
the key word is CLEAN .... not SOAK. It's fine to clean the surface with WD40 or
kerosene, just don't soak it in a bath of the stuff, or the 'lifetime' lubricant that is
sealed in by the X-rings (or O-rings) will be dissolved.
