This is incorrect.
The Givi tubular side rails can be combined with either the Triumph rack or 
the Givi top rack for a 3 bag setup.
I've seen both setups in use.

The SW Motech setup is a beauty.
If I didn't already have my Triumph panniers and Givi topcase it's what I'd 
go for.

The Givi rack leaves the exhaust in the stock raised position, just like the 
Motech.

What I did notoce about the SW-Motech setup is that it appears to result in 
the topbox encroaching (very slightly) into the pillions space.
I'm sure careful choice of topbox could minimise that effect but it would 
have been better for pillion accomadation if the rack could have been 
mounted and inch or two further back.
