RE: [ST] New ST

Sat on a new one at my dealer last week. I like the seating position and the general look and feel of the bike. It looks like Triumph listened to the end-users on just about everything except for the suspension upgrades that we wanted. It has an Aprilia Futura feel to it from the cockpit - which is not a bad thing at all. As a few listers already mentioned, the locking storage in the fairing is a welcome addition and the gauge package looks really good. The turnn signal integration into the mirrors is cool, and of course the dredded rubber covers over the mirror stalks are gone. Those stalks have undergone a major redesign and look to be much simpler and sturdier than the previous ones. All but two of what my dealer has coming in for '05 have already been sold. I'm so happy with my '01 right now with only 20k miles on it, I'm thinking an upgrade won't be in the cards for me until '06 at the earliest, more likely '07. But you never know....
