RE: [ST] Chain Life



I think the default shortest is 120 links.  I couldn't find any with less.  But no matter, you just remove what you don't need.  I think our bikes require 108 links or there abouts.

I highly recommend the MotionPro Jumbo Chain Tool Part Number: 08-0135.  It pushes the pins out (to remove links), and it rivets it together.  That's what I've used and I like it.  10 minutes and the chain is done.
