RE: [ST] 19T X 45T

I don't understand. What kind of clearance problems? Two more links make the overall chain length longer, hence, pushing the rear wheel out.

Now if the chain were shorter, I can see clearance problems, because the wheel is now going in. Thus running the risk of rubbing.

But, in all, I agree with you. Less bend in the chain. I put a 17T on my front, and I don't like it. It seems to be pushing the limit on chain bend. When I need to replace them again, I'm gonna go with 18T or 19T and increase the rear instead.

Anyone have experience with a 19T countershaft and 45T rear? It sounds
good to me: about the same ratio as 18T X 43T but less bend in the chain.
I think 110 links should be OK but I'm not sure and don't know if there
are any clearance problems.
