Thanks Blake. I have never pulled a plug and looked inside a cylinder.
I am sure there is carbon build up but I doubt there is much grunge. I
always assumed it was the valve seals but that was nothing more than a
guess.

All I know is that people riding behind me have told me that when I
get on it (or perhaps right after getting on it) dark smoke comes out.

When I have a chance I will look into this product.
