Mine does that, but sometimes the noise wavers a bit, instead of  
being a nice constant-pitch whine.  My neighbor's Daytona 600 has a  
nice steady fuel pump whine while the system pressurizes, so I've  
wondered occasionally if my fuel pump may be preparing to fail.  I  
haven't seen anyone talk about fuel pumps failing, though, so I  
wouldn't think it is a high-risk item.  Anyone had a fuel pump fail,  
or heard of it, on the Sprint?
