Re: [ST] Triumph's absence at the shows



Hi all.

I spoke to a guy who works for Jack Lilly in the UK this morning (out here on Holiday).

here are some interesting tidbits:

The production run for 2006 for the 675 Daytona looks like it will be sold out before the first bike comes off the line. Here in Cape Town there are already 20 on order, with only two deliveries confirmed at this stage.

The ST is selling really well in the EU.

Production of the 995 Daytona is set to stop. At this stage there are no plans for a liter class sport bike.

There are plans for other 675 variants. According to this guy the 675 power plant is remarkable, more than enough grunt for a sport bike.
