Re: [ST] Triumph's absence at the shows



Those are both interesting points of view, Rich.

While the second one does seem to make sense, its how the numbers actually 
crunch that decides where marketing dollars get spent. 
Its a difficult thing to quantify, but the question that has to asked is how 
many of those 800,000 visitors per the million dollars of investment will buy 
a Triumph? You would think some, but, is it enough to justify it?

In the grand scheme of things, it may seem like a good idea, but, if spending 
the million in other ways translates into sales and is proven to do that, 
thats where the money will be spent. 

As an owner, I would prefer the after sales back up to be maintained at the 
expense of the show appearances not the other way around.
