I agree, the whole thing was engrossing to watch, but afterwards upon 
reflection it was really just a couple of guys with too much money and 
obviously spending it.  I think the exploits of StrikingViking on ADVRider are 
much closer to the real thing.  But even that has a bit of mothers' apron 
strings attached.  I guess the only way to experience a world ride is to do it 
yourself, you're never too old - an excerpt from SV's epic posting mentions 
meeting a 78 year old rider in eastern europe doing the same thing as him but 
in the other direction.  The 78yo was just about to head off down the trans-
siberian highway.... on a GOLDWING!!!!  Now that guy has my respect!
