Re: [ST] Brake hose discussion

Steven,John, et all,
There are items on the web from Goodrich, Galfer and others that flat state
that Kevlar, SS or whatever is just protection for the tube which is usually
Teflon or some kind of plastic. The entire SS being stronger position is
irrelevant. If we need to prove what a stock line is made of, I have one on
the bench, but again this has been proven over and over again.

Subject: [ST] Brake hose discussion

The fronts are. I have no idea what is in Justin's Eggnog. Kevlar is
Kevlar, stainless steel is stainless steel. Triumph OEM front brake hoses
are braided stainless steel. Many people have stripped the rubber sheathing
off of them to reveal what looks just like Galfers pattern.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I was under the impression that our bikes came
with braided steel lines ?
