RE: [ST] pass the ammunition

Nope, not going to rise to the bait. For more information see
http://www.nraila.org/issues/FactSheets/Read.aspx?ID=83

FYI, in FL, whether you are a resident or not, you can transport a
firearm in a vehicle provided it is "cased". A case is anything you
have to open to get the gun out. A holster with a strap over the rear
of a pistol, which must be undone to remove the pistol, is a case. If
you have a concealed carry permit, no case is necessary.

The problem lies in poorly trained LEO's who don't know the law re
transporting. They can be a hassle; on the plus side they can make you
richer if you get arrested. The false arrest suit is a dead-bang.

FWIW, I am a certified Instructor in the shotgun, handgun and
home-defense disciplines, as well as a Hunter Safety Instructor for the
State. Remember, it's a license to CARRY, not to shoot.

Guess I rose to the bait after all.

Snip

Something to ponder, no need to answer: Why do conservatives want
liberal gun laws?
