[ST] Painting an ST and Stickers

I'm getting my ST repainted.  The luggage had jumped of the bike on several 
occations (my fault), and a friend dropped it at a stop sign (learned a big 
lesson there). I'm picking a new color also.

I was wondering if the sticker set that can be ordered from Triumph can be 
safely clear-coated over.  The painter cautioned me that some stickers will 
bubble when the clear-coat is applied.
