Mine is the 'standard' scott oiler, and was fitted by a dealer (A1 Moto
of Yorkshire) in UK prior to my getting it. They tucked the reservoir
under the seat and ran the pipes very neatly inside body work. All you
can see from out side is oil tube that runs along top of chain guard
(under neat protective cover) toward rear sprocket, where it crosses
swinging arm down to the point where the needle thing the oil comes out
from buts up against the inside of the chain. If you don't look for
it, you can't see that the oiler is fitted at all. Very neat. When I
get organised I'd be happy to get a photo or two of installation
uploaded etc. should anyone be interested to see.

Can't imagine why anyone would want to steal it - they really don't
cost that much to buy and there is not that much to steal (the
reservoir unit I suppose - rest is mostly clear plastic tubing), and if
they got in as far as the scott oiler not only would the alarm have
gone off but they'd also able to steal my Autocom etc. etc.

In that respect the crap design of Triumph panniers (blocking access to
seat lock) is a great security feature - leave LH pannier on and they
deserve the Autocom / Oiler as a reward for actually getting seat
off... (though if they are like me they'll soon give up trying).

Best regards
