Actually I heard is was mostly due to the fact that Barber isn't a quote
"high speed track" and that they wanted the first race in the US to
showcase the 200mph+ speeds of these machines. But I've also read that
if attendance is solid that they may think of adding a second date in
the future which would most likely be at Barber.
Either way, I'm bummed as I can't go this year. Getting married the
following weekend and was told flying to Cali the weekend before was,
how you say, not an option...[whipping sound] I guess Nasc-excuse me,
SpeedTV will have to do.
